Juha: She’s awesome! <3
Kjeld Duits: @Dani: You’re welcome. I guess Tavuchi-san is getting a lot of attention again. ^^ @Andrea: She has been an amazing trendsetter in Japan. Few shops can claim that a trend was named after them.
Andrea: I love Spank! So much and I was so excited to visit the store while I was in Japan. Plus Tavuchi is just so inspiring (like everyone said) and has an amazing sense of fashion.

Kjeld Duits: @Maria: LOL, Yes that kind of shot would look great with Mika.
Maria: So Christmas-like! <3 She reminds me of an album cover! * runs to her music files *
Amber: Wow, her outfit is very autumn-y! Her red outfit and hair reminds me so much of the crispy red and orange leaves! She’s also super cute!

Kjeld Duits: @Nyurah; Yes, I have seen a few of these already. Also used as bracelets or anklets.
Nyurah: @Kjeld: Don’t bother it’s still well visible. Rio is wearing the same kind of necklace as aoi. Except that rio added a cross. :)
Kjeld Duits: @Nyurah: Oh, I missed that completely. Didn’t even take a close-up of it…

Kjeld Duits: @DJ Kittie, Emma: Yes, Ayu has a very special look, doesn’t she. The green hair, the dress and the earring are outstanding.
Emma: At first her hair reminded me of Lady Gaga’s, ^ _ ^ I love the outfit though, especially her dress I think it’s elegant.
DJ Kittie: OMG! I love her earrings. She’s a doll.

ela: Thanks for the info, Kjeld!
Kjeld Duits: @ela: Mai buys most of her clothes at used clothing stores. There are quite a few good ones in Tokyo. See a few of them here.

John: Oh, my, goodness! Wow, she’s adorably cute! I saw a wide variety of styles while I was in Shitamachi last summer, but sadly I didn’t get to visit Harajuku. There were a ton of nice clothing stores, though. It’s easy to lose track of time just going through floor after floor of shopping centers.
Stylish Mr Gordon: What is there not to love with this fantastic image? The girl is so cute and this is further enhanced by the Mickey Mouse T-Shirt and bright orange nail varnish. I love the boots and the socks. She has added lots of contrasting pieces together and struck gold. Well done to her.
Kjeld Duits: @Robyn: Thank you, Robyn. I am attracted by the creativity, originality and exuberance of this fashion. It shows lots of energy and joie de vivre. My choices are very subjective, but presence and self-awareness play major roles. There are always a whole range of looks that you see in the streets of Japan, and they differ enormously per locale, even in Tokyo itself. Harajuku fashion is completely different from the fashion in Shibuya, Aoyama or Ginza to name just a few well-known fashion districts. We focus mainly on Harajuku and the photos you see on JS give a good representation of some of the best looks available in this area.
