Kjeld Duits: @Amber: Yes, well said, cute with an edge. It’s a very feminine look, but the hair, make-up, tights and shoes give it some toughness.
Amber: @Kjeld: I agree with you. I like how everything is cute but also has a little edge. I would wear this outfit. :D
Kjeld Duits: @María: I thought that the top and the bag were a perfect match.

Kjeld Duits: @Marshay: Yes, that quite surprised me. And it’s not a feminine shirt at all.
Marshay: I love how she pairs the over sized shirt with the skirt and it still gives off a very feminine look.
Kjeld Duits: @Isa: Thank you for your feedback, Isa. There’s indeed also a make-up company by the same name, but the logo on Ripyo’s shirt is from the Wet ‘n Wild water parks. Check out the logos: wet n wild make up | Wet ‘n Wild Water Park (Orlando).

Kjeld Duits: @Vex: It took me a long time to come to grips with this, actually. But eventually I decided to follow Japanese categorization, albeit with English words. I also believe it is important to listen to what people themselves consider their style. Very often this will differ from how people in other countries perceive those styles. But that’s kind of the point of JAPANESE STREETS, to show what Japanese people do with fashion, and their naming customs are an important part of that. Thanks for the support!
Vex: Look up South East Punk that’s punk, this stuff they call punk isn’t punk… It’s hipster! All of that stuff came from WHERE, a corporation? Crosses? ehhh. Cute though.
Kjeld Duits: @Maria: YES!

janus: @Kjeld Duits, thanks a lot! I’ll check it out!
Kjeld Duits: @janus: Yes, the BELLY BUTTON shoes are great. That is a brand of TOKYO BOPPER (click on the links to see more people wearing them).
janus: Oh, that pretty hairstyle! Personally, what I like in this look is her shoes. But everything seems harmonic.
