gionbaby: @Kjeld Duits: I shall do that. Thank you! ^^
Kjeld Duits: @gionbaby: Congrats on your marriage! Finding a job won’t be easy, but it is also not impossible. I am sure you will find somehow. You do indeed have to be here—prospective employers in Japan like to see who they’re dealing with. Keep me posted about when you get here, and where.
gionbaby: @Kjeld Duits: Thank you very much! (^^) Residence permit, yes. Because I got married this summer and my husband is Japanese. (^^) I want to live and work in Japan of course, but first I have to find a job. I tried to look around on the Internet, even signed up for some emails about jobs, but it wasn’t too helpful (full of English teaching jobs for NATIVES and jobs for people who already have a working visa or similar and are already IN JAPAN). I guess I have no choice but to continue my search when I’m already there. It seems like we will be living in Tokyo, but it’s all up in the air until his company decides where to place him (he will start working from March 2011). We really hope it will be Tokyo, because I have the highest chances of finding a job there, but actually anywhere is good for us if it’s not too hot and there is some job opportunity for me too. (^^;;)
