Strange name and strange collection. io yukomura” Ta released its latest line in Marunouchi this afternoon. Camouflage and more military motifs bludgeoned this show and left me feeling particularly fed-up.
The womenswear collection had some nice touches but generally looked dated and uninspiring. It didn’t help that the models looked slightly dirty and had the look of someone coming home after a one night stand.
The highlights were some cute white pleated skirts, wide khaki trousers and some sophisticated mini black capes.
However, the open dungarees and cargo shorts fell short of the mark and even a pretty black baby doll dress couldn’t cover up the show’s glaring inadequacies.
