LUCi advertises itself as a magazine for “working girls”, not “working women”. It actually uses katakana (女のコ) instead of kanji or hiragana to further emphasize ‘girls’. It aims to offer fashion that combines elegance with kawaii.
LUCi has a circulation of 155,000 and is published by Fusosha, which also publishes ESSE, SPA, Numéro Tokyo, Sumai, MAMOR, taxi, haru_mi and other magazines.
