Lifestyle magazine for married women over 30

First published in 1977, Croissant is a Japanese magazine for women in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Main points of interest are interiors, cooking, health, and looking young.

Some 60% of Croissant readers have an annual income of between 4 and 15 million yen (Convert). and are divided pretty evenly over women in their 30s, 40s and 50s. A third of Croissant readers are full-time housewives, while the rest combine taking care of a family with working. Only 14% Croissant readers are single. A surprisingly high 10% of Croissant readers are male.

Croissant has a circulation of 400,000 and is published by Magazine House which also publishes anan, BRUTUS, Hanako WEST, Hanako, ku:nel, Tarzan, GINZA, Oeuf, Casa BRUTUS, POPEYE, BOAO and Croissant Premium.
