Sophisticated fashion for women in their 20s

AneCan was first launched in March 2007 as the magazine for women who have “graduated” from reading CanCam. ‘Ane’ means ‘older sister’ and ‘Can’ comes from ‘CanCam’.

Amazingly, AneCam worked together with department stores and apparel makers to create a completely new market. Arpege created JUSGLITTY, Renown Glasieux, World Jewel, to name just a few. Japan’s department store chain Isetan even created a special exhibition of six AneCan brands and within a week sold merchandise worth JPY 35 million (USD 293,700).

CanCam has a circulation of 320,000 and is published by Shogakukan
