Discountinued at the end of 2009, Hanako WEST was a lifestyle magazine for “energetic and fashionable women in their 20s” who live in the Kansai area (around Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe). It was the sister edition of Kanto (around Tokyo) based Hanako.

Published by Magazine House, it had a circulation of about 150,000 at its peak. Magazine House is huge and also publishes an•an, Tarzan, Popeye, Brutus, Croissant and many other well-known Japanese magazines.
