*Let Them Eat Cake* Vintage Sweater
Vintage 80's ivory ribbed cardigan sweater has puff shoulder sleeves and fitted peblem waistline. I added the tasty cupcake appliques which are hand-cut using recycled vintage fabrics (satin & taffeta) with embroidered sprinkles, top-stitched in metallic gold. Acrylic.

Did you stitch those cupcakes yourself or did you find them somewhere? Just wondering.

I think they're cute, but might be positioned for someone a little more 'hip' than I am. I was going to say that it might be for someone younger than me (which is also possible), but I can see other 23-year-olds wearing this, too.

Sweets have been extremely popular in Japan the past year. Both as accessories and accents on clothes, so this photo came very timely.
