O-bon floating paper lanterns

Toro-nagashi (floating of paper lanterns to guide the spirits of the dead back to the other world) during o-bon at the Buddhist temple Kurodani Konkaikomyoji in Kyoto. O-bon is a Buddhist holiday to honor the deceased spirits of ancestors. I took this photo August 16 on the last day of o-bon.

Im always atracted to this kind of photos, the light (almost none) in the dark, makes this picture very sensitive and pleasant to the eye.

Hey Kjeld, im upset about something i saw here in Mexico, maybe im wrong, but, some sushi restaurant is using Your pictures for some pop advertising, so i dunno if they are paying u or the pics looks kinda the same, and arent Yours, anyway, just wanted to tell u about it, cuz i appreciate ur work, and its not fair.

Hi megaJoe, thanks for the tip! Do you think you can take photos of the advertising using the images? There is a sushi restaurant in Las Vegas that licenses my images, but I am not aware of a client in Mexico.
