Thanks for the great links, I will certainly visit one day. And thanks for the nice words about OPJ. I haven't seen any photographs yet like the drawings by Yumeji and Kasho, possibly no photographer was inspired like they were. But I will keep my eyes open!

ah yes, he also took a moovie with video camera since it was friday, rainning a bit, we didn't see other visiters much. if there were so many kids as usual, we couldn't took a shot like this haha my hair is too long ^^;

Language and culture can't be separated, so it is always a good idea to spend some time in the country of the language you're learning. I hope you like it here. It took me at least three years to get used to Japan, but I didn't speak any Japanese when I first came here, though. Knowing some Japanese will help you a lot! And hey, there are beautiful beaches and there is hot weather in Japan, too. Just visit some remote Okinawan islands.

I like this city, Kawagoe shi there are many classical japanese buildings, shrines, temples and so on. but it's really hot as same as Kyoto and Osaka i thought that summer of Kanto was more suzushii......

haha ill go everywhere! i want to make the most out of my holiday. but i thought a year would be good to start off with. if you think about it, it would be a dramatic change from learning japanese here to learning in japan. Even if i carried on studies in Aus, the experience of having lived/studied in Japan would make it alot easier im sure. Im dont know if i want to stay their forever because i love the beach and hot weather too much . Who knows you know. no strict plans, just see what happens
