Kjeld Duits: @Lactose Intoler-Art: Oh, I love giant chunky pearls. I like the fashion of the movies of the 50s: simple black dresses with pearl necklaces. There are three THEATRE PRODUCTS shops, including one in Laforet as you guessed correctly: THEATRE PRODUCTS OMOTESANDO 4-26-24 Jingumae, Shibuya-Ku, Tokyo 150-0001 Phone: (+81) 03-6438-1757 THEATRE PRODUCTS SHIBUYA Shibuya PARCO Part1 4F, 15-1 Udagawa-cho, Shibuya-Ku, Tokyo 150-8377 Phone: (+81) 03-3477-5911 STRIPE by Theatre Products Laforet HARAJUKU 2F, 1-11-6 Jingumae, Shibuya-Ku, Tokyo 150-0001 Phone: (+81) 03-6231-6281 Additionally, some 19 boutiques carry THEATRE PRODUCTS, including one in Moscow and another one in Hong Kong.
Lactose Intoler-Art: WOW! What a GREAT collection! I love it. Where is the store in Tokyo? Is it in LaForet? I would love to see how the shop staff wears it. And I agree, the headpeices are GREAT! I hope giant chunky pearls make a huge comeback.
Kjeld Duits: @Tofu: You mean the blue dress? It is gorgeous, isn’t it. Very different from the other creations—feels like an afterthought, or a flight of fancy by the designers. @Annabelle: Totally agree; those headpieces are really special. It always surprises me that even though headwear is so important for Japanese people (just see our street fashion shots), you don’t see too many cool headpieces in the fashion shows.

Kjeld Duits: @kagitsune: Good to hear. I must admit that I miss the DRESSCAMP of a few years ago. The brand was a lot more adventurous in those days. Have a trip back in time: 2007 A/W | 2007 S/S.
kagitsune: I love the DETAILS on this line! The further I went down the page, the more excited I got. :D
Jini: I love the black legging O_O and the dresses! I love the way they fit the body.

Kjeld Duits: @camiladelguercio: Japan attracts a wide variety of models. In the building where I stay, many models of the JFW are staying as well; they speak a rainbow of languages.
camiladelguercio@gmail.com: It’s Dolores Schmöll in the first picture. Pretty amazing to find an Argentinian model so far away from home.
NucleolusEgoist: How you perceive these fashion designs really only depends on whether you’re looking at it, and asking yourself: “is it wearable?” or “is it too extreme?” compared to looking at them “artistically.”

NucleolusEgoist: I like the models’ angular faces. It plays up the looks and keeps the hairstyles from looking too…well, I’ll leave you to fill in the blank. Though strange, the hairstyles seem fitting in color and shape. The shape, the sharp edges of it, contrasts with the soft designs of the clothes and the earth-toned hues keep it tied together rather than using bold colors. (However, I don’t think I’m capable of pulling it off in everyday life.) I’m going this by my instinct.
Kjeld Duits: Thanks, Marie. I was lucky as she happened to look straight at me. It gives this image much impact. I was wondering why you had become so quiet. Now I know. Speak to you tomorrow at the meeting!
Marie Sasago: I LOVE the last picture, Kjeld! It’s so artistic and all. I’ll print it and display in my room, seriously.haha By the way, I’m afraid but I’ve been away from my hometown for a while and haven’t been able to afford to go online very often. I’ll talk to you very soon!

clea walford: Kjeld Duits, yes, I absolutely agree with you! Guess I forgot to mention that I was referring to dress no. 28 the last time…
Kjeld Duits: @cleawalford: there’s something elegant, yet casual, about matohu’s designs, don’t you think?
cleawalford: I like all the photos and outfits, but if I had to choose, I’ll go for this one. Clea Walford
