Kjeld Duits: @Lactose Intoler-Art: Thanks for filling us in on Londer. I couldn’t quite figure it out, I must admit. 1500 yen is a steal!
Lactose Intoler-Art: I meant to say “Londoner” earlier in my post, not “Londer” haha..But I think you understood me anyway. Mine in Shimokita were super cheap! Around 1500 yen!
Kjeld Duits: @Lactose Intoler-Art: Glasses have become extremely cheap in Japan over the past 10-15 years. Items that cost about 60,000 yen 15 years ago can now be had for 5,000 yen. It is unbelievable. The result is that glasses have become a true fashion item with people having many and matching them to their outfits. How much did you pay for yours at Shimokitazawa?

Kjeld Duits: Yes, that ring is cool, ojisanbaka.
ojisanbaka: his outfit, i love everything /i have to agree about the shoes.. and his ring! i want! an asian guy in arab clothes, reminds me of it..
Kjeld Duits: @gionbaby: Although the shoes themselves are gorgeous, I agree with you that they don’t fit this outfit. They belong with a nicely cut suit. Good call on the pants. They do look like harem pants. But harem pants somehow seem to give them a feminine aura, which the new gender trends intend to overcome. What’s in a name?

Kjeld Duits: @Eszty: Cool, eh! In Japanese street fashion you can see fashion influences from all over the world. Hirari Ikeda last year wore a kimono made of Brazilian chita fabric.
Eszty: This jacket motive is Hungarian folk … interesting
Alyce: This band jacket is the perfect and most awesome accent piece! I’m getting one! This is AWESOME!

Deborah Ferguson: I love the fearless street style in Japan!! as a street style/fashion blogger myself in NYC, LA and London i can appreciate and respect the photographer finding these amazing people!!
Kjeld Duits: @gionbaby: But he has used those genes well with the clothes and hairstyle he selected for himself. Talking about harmony: Shingo came to the G.V.G.V. show together with Ayumi Watanabe. I had originally planned to upload all the images within 2 hours after we shot them, but we were short of people and I fell completely behind. So unfortunately, Shingo and Ayumi became separated.
gionbaby: I look at the pictures above and I see harmony with a big “H”. So great! <3 And that little purple in Shingo’s hair is plain awesome. Going terribly well with the neutral colour(s) of his outfit. I love his pretty complexion and jawline too.(゚∀゚ ) I know this latter has nothing to do with fashion though, only genes. :P
