Kjeld Duits: @akika: Looking forward to doing more shoots with Akari. Her school is very near the JS office and I’ll probably run into her again.
akika: Very attractive. The type of girl that will look good in anything she wears. The hair cut and colour are fantastic.
Kjeld Duits: @Maria: Haha. We can’t live WITH them. ^_- I

Melinoe: she and her style are so cute
Kjeld Duits: @non sibi: I love those shoes too, but they are too expensive for me. So, I am just wondering how a student can afford to buy those. — When I ask, people usually tell me that they have a part-time job and saved. Often for many months. They are truly dedicated fashion lovers.

Modeling at the Japan Fashion Week

When illustrator Brandon Reierson, better known by his pen name Lactose Intoler-Art, was watching the crowd in Tokyo’s Harajuku, a designer approached him. “Would you like to model?” he asked.

Petra: Yeah, they’re awesome! I think I’m going to steal the idea, and just sew something similar, with those dinosaur spikes at the sides.
Lactose Intoler-Art: Hi Petra, thanks! They are actually two separate pieces. The shorts are by a Japanese brand called VEVEROPPARUUU (ベベロッパル in Japanese), and I just layered them over a pair of basic skinny black jeans. I’m glad you like them!
Petra: I love your pants, Brandon. Mind telling me the brand? :D

Amber: I like the hard-soft nature of her look. All of the soft accents in the dress are balanced with harder elements like the black leather and patent bag. It gives Arisa a very feminine appearance that also carries a bit of an edge. It’s almost like picking up a white rose, and then you feel the thorns. The hair suits her perfectly, as well. _
Kjeld Duits: @shazz: Really. Especially when you take the materials in account that Arisa selected for her jacket and dress, leather and sheer.
shazz: jacket and dress? now that’s just pure genius you just have to be jealous (>_<)<3

Tokyo Fashion and Music at POP 'N' CUTE

The people of the Harajuku Fashion Walk organized the POP ‘N’ CUTE party on Feb 25. Kawaii fashion wrapped up in J-Rock and garnished with Harajuku art.

Kjeld Duits: @Roanne: Come and visit!
Roanne: From these photographs, the event looks like so much fun! :D I’m jealous.

Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection of Japanese fashion brand Theatre Products on April 6, 2012, in Tokyo.

Thursday April 12, 2012
Kjeld Duits: @MissMolly: There are actually two designers: Tayuka Nakanishi and Akira Takeuchi. Nakanishi is the main designer. I added links to their previous collections in the intro above the images. Have a look and let me know what you think. ^^
MissMolly: I’m not familiar with this designer’s previous works, but I quite liked this collection, though I have nothing to compare it to! haha It does have a fairly mature tone, but still seems fun. I’d wear it!
Kjeld Duits: @Maria: Thanks, Maria! I was wondering if I was the only one who was felt that this collection was less creative compared to previous ones. But I see that you feel the same way. I really hope that THEATRE PRODUCTS can rekindle their creativity.
