LabellaLuxe Boutique: Cute dress!
Kjeld Duits: @Valerie: “French majorette inspired?” — Could be!
Valerie Fujita: French majorette inspired? The ribbon reminds of French Revolution rosette.

Love a Lot!

Love a Lot! The best advice I have heard in a while. Japanese designer Arika nico has made it her motto and the name of her new label

Kjeld Duits: @Maria: Yes, that one is very cute. Arika nico ‘s stuff is very cheap (for Japanese standards), so don’t hesitate to contact her if you’d like to purchase something. Only the buttons were a bit pricey.
Maria: I love that rainbow over-all! My best wishes to the brand ^^

Kjeld Duits: @Valerie Fujita: “Anyway, her candy colorful outfit gives her a tonic and powerful atmosphere!” — Well said!
Valerie Fujita: Good remark from Nora about Arika’s make up. It’s true, it could remind a bit of Daruma. Or, at least certainly an Asian feeling about it ; there is something reminding me of Traditional Okinawa (I have a picture of a woman in front of a restaurant from Okinawa, in traditional wear, and Arika’s make up makes me think of it). As for Japanese girls and their skin, it is incredible how it is flawless. You are right Kjeld, the humid climate might have a special effect on skin; mine changed also. I think that eating less greasy food, less salt and less sugar, eating natto, and drinking green tea benefit in the same way to skin and body. And they don’t expose themselves too much to the sun (well, except for the girls in the Shibuya Gyaru movement maybe). Anyway, her candy colorful outfit gives her a tonic and powerful atmosphere!
Kjeld Duits: @Lord Stardust: Yes, I think Arika nico is very strong. Although, I’m sure she will disagree. ^_-

Travis: Her legs really are great. For some reason I really like the look of the stockings here, and how they contrast. It made my eyes feel strange looking at the top photo. But in a good way.
Vivian Cristina: Hi there, the style she’s using is something more like Japanese Punk and not gothic lolita. The designers of PUTUMAYO and H.Naoto also make punkish clothes too, check out carefully their websites and see by yourself. You’r welcome.
Aya: Even if she looks awesome, this isn’t gothic lolita at all. Maybe… some kind of obscure punk lolita… well, lolita skirts are way longer, and lolita don’t wear t-shirts. H.naoto and Putumayo do sell lolita clothes, but not ALL of their clothes are goth loli. :) However, I do understand that gothic lolita standards may be difficult to understand for non-lolita persons… >< But it’s pretty puzzling for real lolita girls to see punk/gothic girls being labelled “goth loli”. :/

LabellaLuxe Boutique: Love the outfit and jewelry!
Kjeld Duits: I really like Tomoe’s look, too. Very now.
Maria: I wonder if she knows 2NE1… her socks, headband and hairstyle are very 2NE1-like. I love the whole outfit, and the shots of course ^^
